Quote from Virgil - "I am the original owner of this XR7 which was delivered to me at Camino Lincoln Mercury in San Bernardino, CA in January of 1987. I had ordered the car in November of 1986. Build date according to the Marti Report was January 9, 1987. The Marti Report also shows that only 338 '87 Cougar XR7s left the factory with the paint/trim you see on the car.
